CM-10 Software Usage Restrictions

Description​

The university has procedures and processes to ensure software license agreements are tracked.

Applicability​

  • The intended audience includes information resource owners and custodians; and pertains to information resources considered moderate or high impact.

Implementation​

  • 1The information resource owner, or designee, shall:

    • 1.1Ensure software and associated documentation is used in accordance with contract agreements and copyright laws.
    • 1.2Track the use of site licensed or quantity limited software to ensure compliance with contract agreements and copyright laws.
