Auto-Update Process
How Updates are Deployed
Admin By Request software updates can be deployed using the Auto-Update process, however, this is currently disabled. To ensure stability and mitigate potential issues:
- New versions are not immediately deployed to all customers via auto-update
- Updates are gradually rolled out over a 4-8 week period after release
- This timeline may vary depending on feedback and any potential issues that arise
Manual Update Process
If you prefer to manually control the update process:
- Obtain the latest Admin By Request deployment package from Endpoint Security.
- Deploy using your preferred method:
- Individual installation
- Management systems (e.g. Configuration Manager, Intune)
