How do I ingest custom data to Elastic?

Ingesting data into Elastic can be as easy as installing the agent to send syslog data or if you want get gain the benefit of field mappings you can look through the list of integrations Elastic provides and see if there is a more specific integration for the data you're trying to ingest. From logs to host metrics you can pull your data into a central place for logging, monitoring and correlation. To set up a meeting to go over what this process looks like please send an email to elastic@tamu.edu. Please be sure to include information concerning the type of data you're wanting to ingest, if there is a corresponding integration, and how much data you expect to be ingesting.

How do I get myself or my team access to Elastic?

Access to Elastic can be granted by groups by sending an email to elastic@tamu.edu. Please send me a list of names of team members for a group to be created. Also, please include the use case behind the request along with if you would like for your team to have a small demo on the data you're ingesting.
