Removal Tool

Removing CrowdStrike is going to be most easily achieved with the uninstall tool provided by CrowdStrike. You can find the uninstall tool inside of CrowdStrike under the menu, "Support and resources" section, "Resources and tools" subsection, "Tool downloads" page, then navigating to and getting the Falcon Windows Sensor, Uninstall Tool from that page.

Alternatively, you can download it from this page by clicking this link.

When invoking the executable, be sure to have administrative rights, and use the /quiet flag to uninstall the agent quietly.

It should look something like:

.\CsUninstallTool.exe /quiet

Anti-Tamper Protections for CrowdStrike

Some groups may have tamper protections enabled for the CrowdStrike sensor, preventing it from being easily removed. If you believe this to be the case with your group, please reach out to the Endpoint Security team (endpoint-security@tamu.edu) to see what can be done.

Request

Information technology professionals on campus may contact endpoint-security@tamu.edu to request access to the install files or ask any questions.
