Multi-Factor Authentication

Duo is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) platform that helps organizations secure their online accounts and applications by requiring users to provide two forms of authentication. The first form of authentication is typically something the user knows, such as a password, and the second form is something the user has, such as a phone or security key.

Support

Frontline support for Duo is provided by Help Desk Central. If you are not sure what your Duo issue is, start there.

Advanced Duo Usage & Troubleshooting

Some campus members use Duo in more complex ways, such as leveraging hardware-based security keys. Identity Security can assist with troubleshooting for these devices or reassignment of those devices to other campus members. All requests for Duo support should still begin with Help Desk Central, however.
